Gardein Promotes ‘Giving Goodness’ this World Vegan Day and Holiday Season
 
New “Sharing the Gardein Goodness” online photo contest gives fans a shot at winning $500 plus a three-month supply of Gardein’s meatless entrees  
 
 
VANCOUVER, B.C. (November 1, 2011) Gardein, an award-winning line of meat-free foods, is celebrating World Vegan Day today and the upcoming holidays with its new ‘Sharing the Gardein Goodness’ contest and its’ seasonal Gardein Savory Stuffed Turk’y, which is 100 percent vegan and available now at Wegmans, Whole Foods Markets and select natural food stores across the United States.
 
To enter Gardein’s “Sharing the Gardein Goodness” contest, individuals must like Gardein on Facebook and take a photo showing themselves introducing a meat-free meal made with Gardein to family members or friends. In order to be eligible, all photo entries must contain a Gardein package within the photo. Next, the individual must share the photo on Gardein’s Facebook contest wall and encourage their friends to vote. Entries will be accepted until Nov.28, 2011.
 
Fans will vote from Nov. 29 – Dec. 19, and the winners will be announced on Dec. 20, 2011. Prizes include:
 
  1. Grand Prize – a $500 American Express gift card plus a three-month supply of Gardein, 36 free bags of Gardein.
  2. Second Prize – a $100 American Express gift card plus a two-month supply of Gardein, 24 free bags of Gardein.
  3. Third Prize – a one-month supply of Gardein, 12 free bags of Gardein.
 
The “Sharing the Gardein Goodness” contest is open to legal residents of the United States and Canada, except Quebec, who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Complete giveaway terms and conditions are available on Gardein’s Facebook page.
