Fishless Tacos with Jalapeño Crema

This plant-based taco recipe features crispy Gardein® Plant-Based F'sh Filets in warm tortillas with homemade vegan jalapeño crema, crisp cabbage, avocado, and cilantro. Recipe by Thee Burger Dude.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Earth Balance® Mindful Original Dressing & Sandwich Spread
  • 2 tablespoons brine from Vlasic® Jalapeno Slices
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chipotle chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • 1 pkg (10.1 oz each) Gardein® Golden Fishless Filets
  • 12 corn tortillas (6 inch), warmed
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro
  • 1 avocado, pitted, peeled, diced

Directions

  • Step one

    Stir together vegan mayo, jalapeño brine, garlic powder, chipotle powder, dried dill, and lime juice in a small bowl. Refrigerate 20 minutes or until ready to serve.

  • Step two

    Cook fishless filets according to package directions.

  • Step three

    Cut fishless filets in half and place in tortillas, using 2 for each taco. Top with cabbage, cilantro, avocado and crema. Enjoy!
