  • 4 tblsp. Rice Wine Vinegar
  • 1 tsp. Sea Salt
  • 2 tsp.Agave Nectar
  • 1/4 tsp. Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp.Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 cupThinly Sliced Cucumber
  • 3/4 cupRed Onions
  • 2 tblsp. Fresh Lime Juice
  • 4 tsp.Toasted Sesame Oil
  • 1/4 tsp.Smoked Paprika
  • 2 cupsShredded Napa Cabbage
  • 2 tblsp. Chopped Scallions
  • 1 tblsp.Vegetable Oil
  • 1/4 cupPlum Sauce
  • 5 tblsp.Soy Sauce
  • 2 tblsp. Peanut Oil
  • 1/4 tsp.Cornstarch
  • 1 pkgGardein Beefless Tips
  • 4Small Flour Tortillas

Cucumber Kimchi Instructions:

Mix the sliced cucumbers and red onions together.

In a separate bowl mix the rice wine vinegar, salt, agave nectar (1tsp), cayenne pepper, and the red pepper flakes. Pour the mixture over the mix of cucumbers and onions and let sit until the onions soften, approximately 5-10 minutes

Slaw Instructions:

Whisk together lime juice, soy sauce (4tblsp), sesame oil, agave nectar, paprika, and cayenne pepper until well combined.

Add cabbage and scallions and toss lightly to coat well.

Beefless Tips Instructions:

To prepare the sauce for the beefless tips mix together the plum sauce, soy sauce (4 tblsps), sesame oil (3 tsps), peanut oil, and cornstarch.

Use the vegetable oil to sauté beefless tips until well caramelized on all sides, approximately 3 – 4 minutes. Then pour the sauce over the beefless tips and cook until sauce thickens and sticks to the beefless tips.

How to Assemble:

In a non-stick pan heat the tortillas over medium heat until hot and lightly caramelized, approximately 10 – 20 seconds

Fill each tortilla with the beefless tips, slaw and cucumber kimchi. Serve with a side of kim chi.

Chef’s Tip:
When preparing the slaw add additional cayenne pepper to taste for that extra kick!

    we love this recipe, but i think it’s incredibly confusing as written. several of the ingredients are used more than once in widely varying quantities and it’s never clear how they should be used – does the slaw get the 1/4 cup soy sauce or 1 tablespoon…or the sesame oil – how much for the beefless tips and how much for the slaw. please group the ingredients and give them headers…thanks – but again, we love your products! (and this – however it turns out)

    The ingredient list is very confusing. Since there are multiple steps which require the same ingredients, and the ingredients are not listed in the order of the steps, its hard to tell how much, say, soy sauce I’m going to need in each step. I’ll try it tonight and hope I don’t screw it up too badly, since the instructions are almost impossible to follow.

    I can not get this dish out off my head. Daughter and me love it. and yes had to sort the ingredients out , but it was fine. he flavors are just fantastic. Going to make me some more tonight. Thank you , thank you. Your products are fantastic. Oh while I am at it. I had found some ready Mexican meals before. And they were great , But I haven’t seen any since. Are you still making them?
