Plant-Based Chick’n Parm Panini

Enjoy this vegetarian panini recipe that features Gardein® Seven Grain Crispy Tenders smothered with Hunt’s® Pasta Sauce, plant-based cheese, and arugula, all served on crispy panini-pressed bread.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg (9 oz each) Gardein® Seven Grain Crispy Tenders
  • 1/4 cup Hunt's® Traditional Pasta Sauce
  • 4 slices mozzarella-style vegan cheese
  • 2 cups arugula
  • 2 Italian bread rolls (round, 4")

Directions

  • Step one

    Cook Gardein® Seven Grain Crispy Tenders according to package directions.

  • Step two

    For each panini, layer 1 tablespoon sauce, half of the tenders, another tablespoon of sauce and then 2 slices of cheese on bottom of roll.

  • Step three

    Top with arugula and top of roll.

  • Step four

    Press in panini maker (or use skillet or grill pan) until cheese is melted.

Tips

Sandwich can be built and cooked in the oven for easier prep. Top with arugula and top half of roll after baking.
